In the morning of Sep. 27, 2019, Xia Fuzhi, Vice Chairman of Hangzhou Binjiang District CPPCC, and his delegation visited Hangzhou Sumgen Biotech for a special research on the progress in new drug R&D and the Company's development. This delegation also included representatives from the Binjiang District Government Office, Bureau for Economic and Information Technology, and Economic and Science Committee of the CPPCC.
Miao Shiwei, Vice President of Sumgen Biotech, presented the Company's overall development, technical advantages in R&D, layout of pipelines under research, and future development goals to the special research team. He accompanied the special research team to the Company's CMC process development center and introduced the Company's various key technical platforms for new drug development in detail. Vice Chairman Xia and his delegation praised Sumgen Biotech for its continuous innovation and achievements in the past three years and provided valuable suggestions on the Company’s future development. Vice Chairman Xia expressed his hope that Sumgen Biotech can further increase its innovation capability and focus on the creation, protection, transformation and application of independent intellectual property rights in order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the biomedical industry and the R&D and technological innovation of biopharmaceuticals in the Binjiang District.
